After having my second child in 2020, I felt lost and alone in motherhood. As I was learning to navigate life with two kids and struggling with motherhood changing my body, I had an urge to share what I was dealing with in hopes that there were others who felt the same.

 

So, with a baby on my boob, a toddler on my hip, and my phone in my hand - momsitivity® was born.

 

At the beginning, I showed up online as momsitivity. Ultimately, that limited myself to only being a mother when I’m so much more. Although the way my name showed up online changed, the #momsitivity movement continued to grow strong. Over the years, this movement has brought together a beautiful and supportive community of people that all have something in common; the desire to normalize what is real in our journeys not only as parents, but as human beings.

 

So, who am I? My ADHD could go on a 20 minute rant if I let it. To keep it short: I’m a mom of two, wife of one. I’ve lived many lives and through them I’ve dealt with an unrealistic need to be “perfect.” Disordered eating habits, mental health issues, and so much more. But thankfully, I made it out to the other side and now love sharing my story with others in the hopes it helps them do the same.

 

I am a self-love, realistic motherhood, and body confidence advocate just trying to hype you up, help you embrace that hot mom energy, and spread some #momsitivity in the process. Thanks for coming along this wild ride with me! ILYSM <3
